Old Cathedralians Cricket Club is a small and friendly club with a long and proud history of club cricket in Bristol. The club currently fields one side the Bristol and District Cricket League, playing Saturdays throughout the summer. We aim to return to two sides as soon as we are able. We enjoy exceptional pitches at Bristol Cathedral Choir School which rank amongst the very best on the Bristol amateur cricket circuit.

You could enjoy being a part of OCCC :

We pride ourselves on our unique blend of competitive cricket in a relaxed atmosphere. We like to win, and we have our fair share of success, but itís all about enjoyment and camaraderie. Our recent team captains all have a policy of ensuring that all who play have every opportunity to contribute to the best of their ability.

If you are looking for an enthusiastic side who donít take it too seriously once the game is over and if you are looking for a club that will make sure you have every opportunity to get value from the time you commit we are probably the side for you. Give Old Caths a try, you wonít regret it.

We welcome all abilities and although we do not run youth sides we are happy to incorporate young players in our senior sides. Youth players are accorded equal opportunities (within the limitations of the youth rules laid out under ECB guidelines) and benefit from the experience and encouragement of our older players. Past youth players now form an important core in our 1st XI and two 1st XI captains drawn from young players who have moved up through the ranks is a testament to the success of this approach.
